Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Virtual Reality headset?

Does anyone remember (prob early 90s) that there was a fad on tv for 'virtual reality' and with it came the introduction of an eyecatching VR headset that seemed to turn up on tv at least once a week for a couple of years.

Well I'm trying to find what that particular headset was called or even get a pix of it. Strangely google doesn't seem to have any hits for it under 'VR headset' as I'd have thought it common.

This headset had a particular 'look' to it. IIRC it was very bulky, might have even had cables running out the back to a computer or powersupply. I think it might have even had a glove? Possibly coloured blue or yellow with grey?

Also, I don't think it was a consumer device that anyone could buy. I got the impression it was probably a fairly expensive piece of gear that was developed for demonstration purposes.

If it rings a bell for you or know what it was called then let me know. Thanks.

    'Twas called Virtuality.

Google image search Virtuality VR or you'll end up with a page full of images from a TV Scifi show called Virtuality instead.

May I ask Is this for an article on VR or something?
