    Hey all,

As title suggests ... how long is typically at present for high court date for personal injuries case? I know recently (this year) the time hasn't been too bad... a colleague had a trial date in the 5/6 months timeframe. I understand this ebs and flows periodically.

Interested to get informed viewpoint.... thx all.

From commencement of proceedings or from a time when the case is ready and you seek a hearing date?

I think its about 6 legal weeks at present. But once its listed for trial that tuesday, theres no guarantees it will get on that week.

I practise in the south east circuit and 6-9 months from setting cases down is usual. Waterford or Kilkenny High Court sessions.
