Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    anyone know if you can swap a 256meg 7900gs for a 512meg 7950gtx..?

    yay or nay? i think its possible but not 100% sure. the M1710 got the two cooling pipes and all that so it should handle the extra heat.

    I don't have the m1710 but I know you can't upgrade it. You can only upgrade things like the cpu and graphics card on a few laptops. The xps is not one of those. You could always try overclocking it but do remember that this could damage your laptop and will void your warranty.
