Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Passenger side door won't open. 1.4 megane

    I've got an Renault (2000 1.4 megane ). The passenger side door wont unlock from inside or outside The central locking does work on the other doors. this seems to be a common problem can anyone tell me how to do a quick fix.
    any advice would be great.

    first thing i would try is to check for broken wires in the loom from the a pillar to the door , pull back the rubber boot covering the wires give them tug see if any are broken .

    OP, so you can't open door at all now? Or will it open when you pull the handle?

    is it the front or rear door that wont open. if front door it should open by the inside handle anyway
    if it is the rear door then the fault could be the outside door handle at fault as a clip breaks which holds a rod to the door lock mechanism and
    the child lock maybe on which would explain why you cant open the door from the inside.
