    Is this a joke???

Why do you think someone would lend you their puppy if yours got hit by a car. People dont just " Lend" out their puppies you know.

If you are interested in helping animals, try going dow to your local animal shelter to volunteer or something.

No person in their right mind is going to "lend" you their puppy, esp after yours got killed.

Sorry to hear about your puppy, but you hardly expect anyone here to "lend" you their puppies when yours was hit by a car and you have fears of it happening again.

Basically you won't get a puppy yourself as you won't risk it getting killed, but are willing to borrow someone elses as the risk is somewhat diminished seeing as it is not yours?

Sorry, but you are not going to get many takers here. Like someone already said, volunteer at an animal charity or something.

    They arent "making jokes"

They are making valid points!! Who would give you a puppy to borrow?!! You either get a puppy or dont. If your afraid of it being killed on the road again - either take better care that it doesnt get out on the road or buy a goldfish instead

The OP is obviously upset over her puppy so I'm guessing in her grief she has temporary loss of common sense.
Helping out at an animal shelter would be a good idea provided she doesn't get too attached to the animals, which is very hard not to do.

Im sorry, but asking people can you borrow their puppy does sound like a joke, as ive never heard of people lending out their puppies to anyone.

Losing your dog on the other hand is not a joke, of course its sad and im sure you are very hurt by it, we werent making a joke of that in any way. It just seems liek a very strange request to ask for people to lend you their puppies.
