Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

It is a top class station and one of very few who broadcast live overnight.

You'd be surprised how many Irish people living in Ireland Listen to BBC Radio 2. BBC Radio 4 and 5 are also very popular.

There is no comparison to BBC Radio 2 in this country.
It is a fabulous station in terms of personality driven music radio.
Music selection is always kept fresh, the specialist shows are always produced to a very high standard and the on-air talent does not seem to be allowed to fester or to become self-indulgent. (For the love of God RTE, please take note!)

This is obviously down to a very strong and coherent editorial and production system.
A budget of around £50 million also probably helps!

It is therefore a great shame in my view that even R2 should resort to replaying specialist shows overnight.

I listen to BBC R2 all the time in the car.

    Also BBC R6 & Beats 1.

It's a shame but imho terrestrial radio has gone to the dogs.

Newstalk to keep up with current affairs. That's about it now.
