hi , does the dunnes Friday offers only run on Fridays... are they ever still on offer on sat... I always miss them on fridays as I work late... I would pop in sat morning if they were still available

Unfortunately Dunnes' Fantastic Fridays are never on Saturdays.

Advertised on Radio that Cornflakes were E1.95 for 750g (may have been dreaming)

Lady in Dunnes said it was on Friday only but not listed on their promo pic for last Friday madness

I was under impression that it was to run all this week

Can anyone shed light on this as the sleep deprivation is seriously getting to me and I could have dreamt it!!!

    (and nearly out of cornflakes)

I think that Cornflakes was one of their weekly wonders last week?
Dunno, you will have to there to find out and while at it give out to the manager about not advertising effectively

Definitely wasn't a Friday only deal for the cornflakes. I seen them advertised in Drogheda last Wednesday or Thursday and picked up a couple of boxes on Saturday.

Where did you see advertised, is it in paper

Was in dunnes this morning and no offer on shelves

Called head office and no one there can help as they do not know the offers only deal with online

The Cornflakes were on offer last week.
This week's weekly wonders - from memory - frozen food, haagen dazs, something, something
They normally have a sandwich board outside the main door advertising them.

Lucozade was marked €4 in North Earl Street this evening, works out at 50 cent a bottle. Only seen Original on display, hope they have other flavors in stock tomorrow.

  • Registered Users Posts: 18,090 ✭✭✭✭RobbingBandit

Lucozade is even cheaper then, €3 for 8 bottles is a great deal.

€4.50 a tin for Roses in Dunnes also,3 tins per customer limit. They were flying out the door of my local store earlier.

2 litre Pepsi was €1.19 last week in my local Dunnes, good price considering a can of pepsi would cost more in a Spar or Centra.

I'm 'off' all cola myself, I get it to boil my ham, yum yum, and if there happens to be a bit left over I might pour it into a pint glass with ice and may end up drinking the rest as 'not to waste it'.
