Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I am looking for a professional (really professional) classical violin teacher in or around Limerick, who would take a 5 year old determined beginner. (I'm in West co. Limerick but can drive :) ).

At 5, you'd be mental to consider a non-suzuki teacher. The suzuki methods are specifically designed to breed inherent musical and posture skills into younger kids. I'm 32 now, and I can still remember every single Suzuki piece I did, and it stood to me all the way up through the grades. Most Suzuki kids were streets ahead of non-Suzuki kids in terms of musical ability in our school.
