Concealing large (very) pores for men

    Ok so my nose is pretty much destroyed in pores, its pretty much like a strawberry. I have hundreds of smaller ones but two very large ones, like you could literally put the ball end of a pin into it and stand it up :(

    It has obviously affected my confidence to no end but I have started laser treatment to try and help it. Anyway basically I have found a miracle product in the Benefit Porefessional, it covers about 90% of them fairly well, but the very large (ie. more of a hole than pore at this stage!) is causing me problems. I can fill it in with the Porefessional to a standard that I can walk out of the house and not be completely embarrassed about it but my problem is that after a couple of hours it sort of sinks into the big pore and becomes visible again until I apply some more, probably because my nose is so oily. This isn't too bad during work as I can check in the mirrors but if I'm out for the day or on a night out it's a constant worry in case it has become visible again.

    So my question is, is there anything I can do to help it not sink in, or any product I can use that might help? Again I'm a guy so I can't really use lots of make up or foundations or whatever.

    Any help would be greatly appreciated, I've bought so many products at this stage that I'm willing to try anything! :(

    Have you ever gone to have a dermalogica facial done? They do specialised ones for men. I'm a woman but I was having the same problem as you and went and had a dermalogica facial at the weekend, I had my skin analysed by the beautician to see which products to use. The specialist will assess your skin and will perform an extraction of the inflamed pores which isn't the best feeling but it's great for your skin, it takes a few sessions to clear the skin. Most people have a breakout after a facial which is surprisingly a good thing as it shows the facial has worked, I've only had one minor spot so it's not so bad.

    I'm using a dermalogica acne clearing wash which is also for clearing pores and I'm finding it great for my skin, I'm also using micellar water from loreal and it gets rid of a lot of dirt from my face and pores. I'd keep away from putting porefessional or any other make up products on them or use them very sparingly to avoid a clog up.

    As long as the product is non-comedogenic, it won't cause clogs. I'm not familiar with Porefessional but it should say on the packaging.
