Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

What? MG still make cars? :pac:

Honestly though, I don't think I've seen a newer MG than 2002 or thereabouts.

I'd love to get a better look at it. Has it been reliable? They're known for multiple niggly faults.

I thought the fact it was different would appeal to you. I looked into importing one in early 2013 but Vrt couldn't be calculated until I arrived home in the car so I decided against it

I just can't like them tbh. Kinda cheap plastic-ey feel to them.

They're only really bought by die hard Longbridge fans. Try saying one bad thing about them on AROnline fb page, you literally get banned.

Rob Copson and me have history. I was banned on day 1 of the FB page without even registering :pac:

Have you checked out the blogs on macdroitwich? They've an interesting report about the new MG company.

Bad idea. The man had his CLS63 AMG robbed few years ago. Lads get into his house, terrorize whole family, took car key and burn it few days later :/ And it was so nice.

I will upload some photos from Dubshed later. When the match finish :)

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,436 ✭✭✭Marcinek_55

Ok so here they are. I'm not good in takking photos on that kind of event. Never did it. Hope you like them. There was my first ever BMW M3 (the newest one) and S70 AMG - only 112 ever made. The rest are just VW with nice wheels, nice colors and lowered suspension...

Saw also Maserati Ghibli on the car park of King's Hall but was too lazy to go back (after I found space far away) and take a photo of it. Jaguar F-Type on M1, Ferrari 360 joining M1 just outside Belfast (he wasn't drive to fast anyway) and... and no more supercars. More supercars photos coming in 3 weeks +2 days. (3 posts, 37 photos)

That lowered VW up is the most ridiculous thing I've seen in a while, embarrassing. I really don't understand peoples fascination with lowered diesel golfs and a4s with stupid looking wheels.

I would agree that looks silly and generally lowered cars are odd until you see the lowered Porsche in the pics above. It looks stunning. Best pic of the lot.

Most people who have lowered golfs or a4's can't probably afford to run a petrol car, Or they have something nicer at home?

Seems like here's a lot of unnecessary hate towards lowered cars.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,673 ✭✭✭bladebrew

I don't think it's the lowering that's the issue, it's the "stanced" look that seems to divide opinion, I think it looks terrible personally,

  • Registered Users Posts: 585 ✭✭✭ShaunieVW

Some people dont get why others remap there cars or chase big power on a road car. Horses for courses lads. I like both sides and have had slammed cars in the past, I did all the work myself and was proud of it. Never cared for the negative comments I received. That up! looks class. Its the owners vision so fair fu*ks!

Raging I missed Dubshed this year and last year, was there since the first one in 2008. To think how small it started out to where it is now just 7 years later is insane. I know a lot of the guys who own the cars in those pics, the work that goes in is mental. Whether its installing a hybrid turbo or installing bags its all work on our own cars to improve them in our own image. I never got the "divide" and the hatred/bitchiness that goes along with it. Just respect the work gone in.
