Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Is there an easy way to know if Audi alloys are genuine?

Just like the title says really, going to look at a set of RS3 alloys with a mate today and we were just wondering if there is a handy way of telling if their genuine and not reps. I know BMW alloys are stamped with a part number and with Bmw on the inside, are genuine Audi ones done the same ?
    Cheers in advance

The RS3 was only released in 2011, are you sure these are the wheels you are buying?

Anyway, a genuine audi wheel have a part number on the back, something like 8P0 191 255.

Neilw you are spot on, I just rang him there now, they are S3 wheels he's going to look at , so basically genuine ones have a part num stamped on the inside and reps don't , would I be correct in saying that ?

I know that TSW make a lot of the OE alloys for Audi - at least my A4 5-spokes with the wide flat spokes have a TSW marking inside the wheelhub connection.
