Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Default EPG on Irish Sky Box

If you buy a sky box in ireland and don't subscribe to sky what is the default epg that will appear? Will it be the default epg for england? BBC1 London on 101 etc. Or will it be the Irish epg that requests a viewing card? Or will any epg appear at all?

Without the card, I assume that the FTA channels (BBC etc.) can still be added in the 'other channels' section. I notice that on an irish sky box with a subscription if you remove the viewing card, the irish epg remains but requests a viewing card.

Thanks for that Macy. Another query. What other FTA channels, if any, will appear in the default epg, apart from the BBC ones? Will Sky News, ITV News, Euronews etc appear, or do you have to enter them manually in the 'other channels' section?

Yeah all the FTA channels appear - same epg number as they would have on a UK (London) Sky sub. tbh you're 20 favourites are more than enough for the FTA channels broadcasting.

Having used both for FTA, I don't think the epg is worth the crapness of the digibox compared to a FTA receiver. I only changed while awaiting my FTV card....
