Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

When you go to tax a car online it asks for an insurance number.

If my wife taxes a car in her name can she supply my insurance policy number on the car?

    Thanks Dudes

yes, once the car is insured under that policy, it doesn't matter who's name its in or who's credit card its paid with

Yeah pretty much should be ok.

But AFAIK if you enter your insurance number as 123456789 it'll take it don't think there's any insurance database that tax computer system is linked to.

I bought a car last week and instead of waiting for the VLC to come back I taxed in under the previous owners name giving my insurance details (trade policy) and my credit card details. The disk went to the owner and I collected it off her, so I'd say you'll have no problems!
