Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Thanks everyone. The book is self published but it is a start. It spurs me on with writing my own book.

Lulu1 it is fairly easy to self publish the difficut bit is making it good quality. I would not rule it out if I could not get a publisher. However I would use a company that does professional edits and cover.
if you want to do it yourself the editing and cover are ver importand and amazon provide good guides.
check out writing.ie as they have good information and see if your library have any workshops. Kildare libraries had great workshops in May inclduing one on self publishing.
    best of luck with it.

Self publishing is becoming an increasingly viable option for authors and if you put the time and effort in, you can produce a book as good as any produced by a traditional publisher. Whether you self publish or traditionally publish, it's a huge achievement.

Createspace is also a very good one for getting physical copies. I was very happy with the quality of printed book for my own self-published novel. Plus Amazon bought them like a year ago and they are recommended via the Kindle Publishing Desktop.
