Hi guys, our 9 year old got a GoClever Tablet for xmas-model R75. She took it upon herself to change her password and then forgot it:mad: Ive wracked my brain online but cant find a solution. All the solutions assume that i can get into the settings mode, but i cant. When the tab is powered up,i only get an option to input a password. After 5 incorrect goes,it times out for 30 secs and you can go again. It doesnt go into forgotten password mode. Any ideas? Cheers in advance

Do factory reset - BUT YOU LOSE ALL DATA - BACK TO NEW STATE

    Turn off the tablet.

Press and hold + volume button and then power on the tablet.

It will give you 3 options and you pick factory reset.

(I've never done this myself but android forums appear to suggest it)

see this piece of advice, again , I have no idea!

There maybe a small hole, in which you need to insert a pointed object (For Eg: Pen refill) and it should be done with resetting. Some say that its inside the headphone jack, but investigate before doing anything.

    Power off tablet
Hold "Power" & "Home" button till it comes on
Navigate the screen using the volume buttons (which should be visable) to the "Recovery Mode" option.
Press the "Power" button until you see the Android Red Triangle
Hole "Power" button and tap "Volume Up" to get the Recovery Menu
Select "Wipe Data /Factory Reset" and tap the power button to start
    Select "Yes" to wipe.

    Hope this helps.

Post 15 from "csome" here relating to RKChip batch tool.

At your peril, but seems like you have nothing to lose ;)

Maybe one of the Chinese phone shops would be able to have a look?

Where is everyone else on boards - surely someone can advise?!

Use thin object like a paper clip to perform a reset
    to restart the device

    http://goclever.com/manuals/R973_manual_enpl.pdf

No sign on the R75s documentation.

Look for the reset button. If you were talking about that rebooting it before, then you need to hold it for 15-30 seconds for it to start a system wipe.

Sidenote: If you're buying a chinapad buy a goddamn popular one!

As I said before, the reset button only switches it off no matter how long its held for. When its rebooted, its back to square one.
As for the purchase, was out of my hands;)

hi you can factory reset the go clever r75 first download this file
    http://forum.xda-developers.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=1603841&d=1356894161

put onto a sd card and boot up the go clever and it will take about 10 mins and it will eventually be as you took it new from the box

    colin
