Bike to work options 2015

I'm looking at doing the bike to work scheme over here in the U.K. and am willing to spend in the £800-£900 bracket on the bike.

I have concluded that my options are as follows:

I really like the Focus but the advanced riding position may not be the best for someone with occasional lower back issues! I'm a fan of the Trek as well as my first bike was a Trek 1000 all those years ago. The bike will be used for Sunday spins but I plan on doing some mountain passes in the Alps next summer.

I like the Specialized Allez Elite but the limey green colour kinda puts me off it. Do peeps have any other suggestions or which of these bikes would be a favourite?

Like 95% of all the other bike to work schemes. :eek:

Have you looked at canyon or can you avail of them on the bike2work over there.

I'd take the giant out of those listed.

Have a look at Planet X - some decent value to be had just under a grand in general.

Would love a Canyon but it has to be either Halfords or an independent store which will accept Halfords bike to work vouchers.
