Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Today I noticed the motor in my analyser behaving as though the battery was dying i.e. motor sounded as if it was slowing.
I charged it up fully and it still sounds the same. I tried it with hose removed, no difference. It still manages to do its job, but it does sound different.

It is due for service soon. Could that be cause? Anyone come across this before?

Yes, I checked that as much as I could see into it. I hope it doesn't need more than a normal service.

Mine is probably heading the same way :(

So what was the problem? How much did it cost to get it sorted?

Not the first time I heard of you mentioning those office girls. I might just make the long trip myself.

I used to be able to borrow one locally. I must see if he has its calibration up to date.

I know.....I should never have allowed her access to my boards account. Otherwise I could have suggested a shopping trip to Limerick and suggested that I would meet up with her after I visited the treaty stone.

I think the mods will allow this thread. We all agree that its time for Charlie, so no problem having a little fun, so long as SWMBO doesn't see it.

afaik they can be dropped to portlaoise but they are still done for Charlie and invoiced by him so technically still going through hes

if im correct he also has a few premises in Dublin which acts as a drop off point for him to collect

They are only calibrated in PortLaoise by Charlie's (Heating Engineer Supplies) engineer. He is the official agent for Anton in Ireland.

dropped mine to Charlie recently for calibration dropped Tuesday picked up again Thursday same week cant fault that

but I only live about 20min drive from his office

I can generally never be without mine & as long as I can give Charlie a bit of notice, he has always been able to sort me out with a loner.
A few months ago, my O2 cell went, I dropped it to his engineer & I was able to collect it 2 hours later.

You just can't beat that kind of service, plus it keeps the business local.

Sent mine to Portlaoise today. Have a Kane available to me in the mean time. If any of you are thinking of dropping one off there, make sure to contact Charlie before going. The calibration centre might not always be manned.
