Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hello

I bought my powerbook last August and it definitely had a gig of RAM. I remember looking at the 'About this mac' thing at Christmas and it still had a gig of RAM. Last night I accidentally clicked the about this mac thing again and I now have 512mb of RAM.

How the hell did this happen? Can it fall out or must someone have taken it out? I always had two 512mbs.
    Any suggestions wqould be great!

Have you checked that the modules are still there ?
It's possible one may have become dislodged.
Check the system profiler to see how many modules and what size they are.

Check if both RAM modules are still there. Make sure they are still seated properly by removing them, and properly installing them again, making sure you seat both modules properly!

It's really easy to do, and shouldn't take more than 10 minutes. I believe there's a guide in the manual, or you can use the guide here if you haven't done it before: http://www.ifixit.com/Guide/
