Roneth (sp?) Ronet perhaps for a girl. Either way it's awful!
Any girl's name that comes from a boy's name, like Noeleen or Phillipa I dislike also.

I know a guy called Jeorg who's an absolute a-hole. I seen a letter in his flat once and noticed his first name is actually Norbert, I nearly pissed myself laughing. :D

On the topic of Irish (although I think Spanish/Mexican catholics use similar) female names, our church/latin mass inspired ones like Consepta and Assumpta are pretty terrible, even when you shorten them. No offence if anyone of that name is reading.

    [edit] Damn you MrMicro

I have the urge to refer to these unfortunates as Contracepta.

    Davina

I work with a couple of Davinas, I don't think it's too bad, although they're both very nice so maybe that has something to do with my opinion.

Just imagine naming an unfortunate child Oswald.

I know that child. He grew up across the road from me, named after his father and grandfather. The really weird thing about it is that he has three older brothers who all somehow escaped the name.

In addition to the Davinas I also work with a Norbert. Nice guy, terribly unfortunate in the name department. The father of a guy I knew years ago was named Alphonsus Aloisius. Not surprisingly he called himself Al.
