Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    I was having this very conversation with a friend recently. We agreed on;

    Noreen
    Donna
    Irene
    Kitty
    Barbara
    Nora
    Doris
    Jamie

I think Discharge would have to be my least favourite, in all fairness.

Stuartina- why oh why would someone call their kid that.(friends cousin's name, parents must have been expecting a boy.)

Sorry if I offended you. In fairness, the two Irish names on there are for personal reasons. I've good reason to hate them! LOL.

    Sorry though... :o

Also, how is it spelt wrong? If you're name is Dolores, sorry, I don't know how to spell it right..

You mean Porsche or Portia (same pronunciation, one marginally more actually-a-real-name-like-yer-wan-from-AllyMcBeal/ArrestedDevelopment/NipTuck)

'Jaime' is a fairly common Spanish name.

I was waiting for my name to come up ...

I really don't like the names Jacinta, Gertrude (a lot of Boardsies seem to agree on this one), Eabha, Dominic, St. John (pronounced sin-gin; generally a middle name), Eric, Wilbert, Alister, Anthony, Keith...

Some weird parents, for reasons of "snobbery", give their kids strange names. When these kids go to school, they may as well have a sign round their necks saying "Beat the sh1t outta me."

A person I know of has named her children Rupert, Velvet and Octavia.

    octavia like the skoda!
