Raoul, I haven't had any luck pairing with an Amp (Onkyo).
The remote volume icon changes when you +/- or mute but it doesn't do anything to the sound. Have to use both remots still, one for sound, one for channels.
I hope to get on to UPC in the next day or two to see if anything can be done. I'd be surprised if it will have to stay that way (maybe they can enable the sound locally on my box).0 -

Good call. I tried this but gave up after the first 10. Not my tv anyway. Thank god mine is samsung like the box
