Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

problem with me rev counter on a audi a3 2001

hi i need some, the rev counter on my audi has recently failed the nct because the revs wont stay still in order for the to test the emissons. iv had a mechanic re map the car and clean the throttle body but that didnt seem to work. iv been to a audi main dealer and they want 150 to look at the car for one hour. can anyone…

best to get the car diagnosed first to retrieve some fault codes and post the results here,a good independent garage should be able to do this for you.
if you want to do some checks yourself then i'd personally start by checking all of the vacuum hoses for leaks and if yor throttle body has been cleaned then you may need to get it realigned using vagcom or similar.
