Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Irish Times, 28.04.2006

Madam, - May I clarify Iarnród Éireann's position on the carriage of bicycles on Intercity services (Letters, April 22nd)?

We continue to carry bicycles on the vast majority of Intercity trains. The only Intercity routes on which, temporarily, we do not carry bicycles are the Sligo-Dublin, Rosslare-Dublin and Cork-Tralee routes, as the carriages in use on these routes do not currently have such facilities.

However, all new Intercity trains on order, including those entering service from 2007 which will operate these routes, are designed to be able to carry bicycles. - Yours, etc,

BARRY KENNY, Manager, Corporate Communications, Iarnród Éireann, Dublin 1.

    Dear Barry,

Why doesn't Docklands have any bicycle storage, even for staff, but it has parking space.
