Massive win for Zimbabwe who have been in Ireland's shadow in recent years amongst the associate nations. Bad day for Australia, not only the loss in Harare but Clarke is injured again.

They have some good results over the last year or so, beat Pakistan in ODI and tests last year and were competitive against South Africa in their last test.

However they are doomed, mentalist coach, no money, dodgy board and ultimately the better the players do, the more likely they are to be lured elsewhere, Jarvis, Ervine brothers to name a few.

Still better than Bangladesh though. :pac:

Its not a bad result for Australia really, hopefully its beginning to dawn on their selectors that bits and pieces cricketers like Faulkner and Cutting need to really step up their bowling or be gone.

Faulkner's figures flatter him today, he was rubbish with the ball as he has been all year.

    Proper bowlers ftw. :pac:

And never bowl "all rounder" Finch it's absolute painful viewing, he should be reported for been so ****e with the ball. :P

Clarke won't care if he misses the rest of this series, as long as he is ready for a faltering Pakistan, then its all good really.

I watched the Zimbabwe innings on a stream, great finish as it seemed lost then Utseya and Chigumbra started to slowly get closer to the target and the crowd started to get more and more excited. And since you knew they could collapse and be all out within 3 balls it added a lot of tension :D

I dont think Australia should be too concerned either, Zimbabwe have threatened a lot of times to pull off upsets only to collapse iirc, they were bound to finish one sooner or later

Seems to have coped on a bit in the last year or so which is pleasing for Australia. Serious hitting today against Steyn.

I think he may play a test in the next 12 months or so as well.
