Portable wheelchair stair lift

Hi everyone,

I am looking for a company or person that can lease/lend me a Portable wheelchair stair lift.

My fiancé and I are planning our wedding at the moment. We were hoping to have our small reception in one of our favorite restaurants in Dublin but unfortunately we have learned that the upstairs area of the resturaunt where functions are held is not wheelchair accessible.

Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Sorry, but I never heard of a temporary wheelchair lift....where did you hear about this?

Some powered evacuation chairs can also go up stairs - like this one; http://www.consolid.ie/stair-climbers.htm or this one

You could contact the suppliers and see if you could rent one for a day. You'd need to train a couple of people in the family or on staff to use the devices.

Honestly, it sounds like a lot of hassle to me. Does the venue have an accessible bathroom, and enough room for a wheelchair to navigate, and a floor covering that isn't too much of a drag? There are lots of great restaurants and venues with good access who would love to accommodate you.
