Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Slightly overshadowed by Padraig Harrington's superb win, congratulations also to Muskerry's Niall Turner. Although he missed the cut by a stroke in Jakarta, he'd already done enough on the Asian Development Tour this season to win the third of 5 cards on offer for the main Asian Tour next season. I know he unsuccessfully attempted to win a European Tour card last month, but it's good to see someone taking a chance on doing something a bit different in order to earn their card for one of the bigger tours. Hopefully he can continue his good form from this year into next season, albeit against tougher opposition.

Where would Niall be in his development - young player just starting out???

Anyhow - best of luck to the guy - hope it works out well for him

It seems he's been around a few years, he's 31 now. Don't know anything about him really except that I spotted that he'd won a tournament on the Asian Development Tour earlier in the year and I've been keeping an eye on him since.

I saw the name on the list of players, and wondered who he was. Well fair play to him getting a card to play on tour. It'll be tough, spending a lot of time a long way from home, but he obviously thinks it's worth it. Really hope it works out for him and we must keep an eye on him.

I just read that Niall Kearney came through Q School to earn his card. So we will have 2 Irish players to keep an eye out for on the Asian tour this season :)
