EDIT. Car found by Limerick gardai Thank you.

Reposted on the Limerick forum with kind permission of Mod MrE. Thank you.

A good mate had his rare and very desirable R32 Gunmetal grey GT-R stolen within the last 3.5 hours from Henry St in Limerick. 10/03/2010@11am. This car was going to be a lead car for a charity drive around Ireland this year.
If you spot the vehicle call Henry street Gardai (061 212 400)

It sounds like a joke Raiser, I know. The only thing is, is that Andrew is not laughing. The poor lad is down the price of a rare car now with no comeback on insurance.

I'd say it'll be found intact.

    - In its favour is that its distinctive and should be easily spotted.

Limerick Scumbags seem to vary in approach in fads and phases, for years everytime they robbed a car they'd torch it and then they just stopped doing it almost completely.

I'd say they knew they'd have an easy time in Court if the free Legal Aid Man told the Wiggy Geriatric that the "Property was returned to the owner intact and with minor damage your Honour"

what part of henry st was it in? i know that a lot of foreign nationals live up there in the flats so it mightnt necessarily be limerick scummers..go to the garda station, they have cameras up that direction

May be nothing to do with the stolen car, but a dark nissan skyline was parked near Thomond Park about an hour ago when I was passing. I would have been driving from the LIT side and it was on the left hand side of the road just before the traffic lights after TP.

Caught the eye because there are not many skylines around town and I had one years ago.

Thats probably more police work than the actual guards would put into finding it
