Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

HTC One X Alarm issue

    Hi Guys,

Just wondering has anyone encountered this issue with their HTC One X. The stock alarm goes off at the set time but their is no audio - no alarm sound. The phone vibrates alright.

I have checked some obvious things like the alarm volume is turned up, phone isnt on silent etc but all to no avail.

Any ideas? This is my second One X as the first one which I got at launch had an earpiece problem. This was replaced so I am reluctant to send another back for service for something that would appear to be a software problem.

(maybe upcoming updates will fix it)

    Thanks in advance

when your setting the alarm can you choose a tone to use as the alarm tone?

i use a custom MP3 as my alarm and it works fine.

Thanks nedd. I checked the alarm volume. It was set to approx 80% of max. I changed it to max volume and lo and behold the alarm now works properly.

This is obviously some sort of software bug but at least I won't be sleeping it in anymore!
