Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Ok this is difficult to say but I have been off work for over a month now due to a bereavement in the family and a serious car accident, there were other serious issues also but wont go into them. I went back last week for a couple of days and work asked me to work every second day, to get back into things. On my day off I slipped coming down the stairs and done some damage to my back, which im on medication for, over the weekend I picked up the flu virus and have been in bits.

I haven’t really had time to think about 1 thing or another because I've been distracted so much, and am starting to feel very stressed out as everything is piling up on me.

Jesus! That is bad luck. Firstly my condolonces to you on the death of a family member. I know its one of the worst times you will ever go through. All i can say is maybe take some time to go somewhere for a few days and breathe. Other than that all i can say is it will get better.

    Best of luck:)

Ok you probably picked up the flu because your immune system is gone haywire with whatevers been bothering you and falling down the stairs... probably for similar reasons. Whatever is eating you its affecting you physically as well (in my opinion).

Shall we begin and address the issue at hand? Might as well start by getting something off your chest.

You've certainly been through the mill! What's stressing you? If it's the bereavement, that's understandable & time will heal etc. But if you're stressing about feeling you should be working, stop feeling guilty. You need the time off and the fact that you're making mistakes and picking up viruses shows that youre stressed. Be easy on yourself. You'll be better when youre better. Don't go back to work too soon, you could just end up sick again. Look after yourself.

God love you that's an awful lot on anyones plate!

Maybe go back to your doc to check that your medication isnt giving you bad side effects. Or google what you're on and see what you can come up with. It's an awful time for you anyway so I can understand you feeling like everythings getting on top of you.

You will get through it all though with help and support from all who love you. Your work seem to be supportive also so that's always a help. Give yourself time, try to relax and a trip away might be the fresh air you need right now.

Best of luck and remember we're always here to get things off your chest if needs be :)
