Game is gone to **** if that's a red.

More embarrassing feigning of injury involved though

Saw what Tobin did on the replay. Little and nothing really. Still stupid, especially just after coming on.

What did Tobin do? Seemed to me to just be the usual argy-bargy when a sub comes on.

Looks like Tobin hit him with the bas of the hurley.

    Joke of a decision.

Do we want senior hurling or do we want tiddlywinks?

As a neutral both reds deserved.

Ref is always going to be looking to even it up.

Hot him with the hurl. Stupid.

That red was deserved too, fair play to the officials for spotting that, this is a great half of hurling.

105 minutes of good action today (the first 35 minutes of this game were terrible though), two sendings off and an idiotic remark from Joe Brolly. You'd miss The Sunday Game alright.

Level. Some brilliant point-taking from difficult angles from Clare.

Davy has to go after if he can't even beat a nothing Limerick side.

  • Registered Users Posts: 13,319 ✭✭✭✭dastardly00

I can't wait to hear what crap Davy has to say after this

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,467 ✭✭✭Very Bored

Limerick probably just about deserved that, but fair play to Clare for staying in it for so long with a man down until the Tobin sending off. The first half was dreadful, but the second half was much better. Both need to sharpen up a lot though if they want to have a crack at a decent summer.

Where did 1 minute come from. He wasted one minute telling Nicky O'connel to go back off and back on again.

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,403 ✭✭✭daisybelle2008

    Ah no.....Well done Limerick anyway.

Davy would you leave the Ref alone.

    Delighted for Limerick.

Clare, Davy his style of play and their tactical fouling can **** right off.

Its not a nothing Limerick team, its a Limerick team which pushed Kilkenny very hard in the All Ireland semi final last year.

Extra time in gaa is a farse

Fair play to Limerick and best of luck against Tipp.

I do fear for this Clare team. The skill is there but the attitude let us down yet again :(

Injury time in the gaa is a joke. If there is 2 mins added on the ball is in play for about 30 seconds. This happens all the time.

Limericks handling was fairly shocking I thought, couple of big performances was what saw them through

Ref ignored a lot of fouling from behind behind by clare after the red.

Well done Limerick better team one on the day.

We only seem to play well when our backs are to the wall and our glorious leaders ingenious "tactics" have to go out the window. Just a coincidence I'm sure.

There's my bet for Munster gone. Who knows with Clare they could go on to win the all Ireland still

If Limerick or Clare played like that against Tipp or The Cats they would have ran up a cricket score.

Limerick have good depth in their squad and never really looked like losing what was a very poor game of hurling. Cian Lynch looks like a lethal forward. It's going to he hard to imagine them beating Tipp.

Clare must have been the luckiest team to win the All Ireland in 2013. Besides Shane O'Donnell and Tony Kelly (who had a poor game) the rest of the team looks very average. Davy Fitzgerald has to go after this season. Not good enough given the underage success in Clare. Team is going nowhere under him. Still wouldn't like to meet them in the qualifiers.

Referees and umpires had a dreadful day.

    Serious realistic thoughts must prevail

Today copper fastened if anything while he needs to stay

Missing key players down man start ist half chasing a game never never never have given up and like v KK twice died boots on

Clsre will beat limerick if meet again
Imo Davy actually looked better today as Ryan stronger limerick couldn't extra man longer in the game couldn't finish limerick off
Clare have nothing to be ashamed of in performances in they never gave up
A team never gives up believes in the manager

Get bulger and mcgrath fit and galvin back clare will take some stopping and can improve
Limerick don't imo have that improvement in them
This clare team loves croke park

The better team won I suppose, well done Limerick.

Have a feeling that if this Clare team were left to play a freer form of hurling they'd do great things.

Hopefully we'll see Croker yet. Let the Banner rise again 😊
