Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I just used a yahoo email account for the first time on Office Outlook and it downloaded all my emails from the webmail to the Office Outlook, when I went back they were all erased from webmail.

Is there anyway to restore them all? This is 1000% annoying and frustrating as I often access the account and need those old mails there.

What happened is you didn't check the 'Leave a copy on server' option when setting up your ac, the default is to take em off the server.

    http://www.madcomm.com/techtips/email_setup/outlook_leavecopy.html

    So it doesn't happen again.

    As for putting them back?

The easiest way would be if Yahoo had IMAP support, the only reference to it i can find is this Blog: http://yahoo.weblogsinc.com/2006/06/24/yahoo-mail-getting-free-imap-access/
(the post is 2 years old, so reliability unknown)

If you want to try set up an account like that in outlook, you should be able to drag your emails back onto the outlook server.

Are you paying for Yahoo Plus? I really hope not, regardless I recommend you check out Googles Gmail, it has free POP, and the pre mentioned IMAP too

And as posted above, deleted from the pop server, as is the default.
