Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Greystones to Dublin City Centre commute

    Hi

Myself, wife and child are considering moving to Greystones. We both work in Dublin city centre. I’m concerned the commute might be too much over a long period of time. I’d be very interested to hear anybody’s experience with this commute or, indeed, any other views regarding living in Greystones.

    Thanks in advance.

You might get a quicker reply in the Greystones forum...

Dart takes 50 minutes from Greystones to Pearse Station - it's pretty reliable but when something does go wrong (like flooding on the line or fallen overhead wires) you could be facing a big delay. There's also the 84X bus but it only runs at peak times.

Driving - if you leave Greystones before 0730 you can get into town in a hour or so, after that it could take 90 minutes or more - it's obviously much quicker in the summer.
