As title says. I can't access it this afternoon, most of the times I tried! I'm using perlico.

Yeah I tried down for everyone but i wanted to hear from irish users, as rte.ie are hosted here.

Nada on port 80 of the host called www in DNS zone rte.ie (thats the http port for non techies:D)

Poor show being down that long - someone must have really screwed up!!

you tell me?! There's been cases of where some parts of the internet couldn't connect to other parts because of data carrier arguments and spats. e.g. http://gigaom.com/2008/03/14/the-telia-cogent-spat-could-ruin-web-for-many/

As rte.ie is in ireland, data has to pass through fewer companies than if it would if it were in America naturally. rte.ie is a big site with large connectivity for the rte player so the odds of it going down were pretty small.
