Scales of the Universe

Found this great little app. earlier, thought I'd share.
It's basically a zoom tool, you can go right down smaller than atoms, to thickness of hairs, to cars to planets all the way to the edge of the universe.
Great way of putting in perspective how small we actually are.

It's amazing though, the scale of these things. When I see anything about space and planets or atoms and sub atomic particles, they say things like "This star is 1,000,000,000,000,000 bigger than our earth." Our brain can barely imagine those kid of distances. I was playing with this thing for about an hour last night. (played with the app for a while too)
