    Right, you forgot the wifes/girlfriends anniversary and as such you haven't got a reservation for that nice restaurant that you are supposed to have.
    DOGHOUSE

    You have to entertain the crowd from head office and bring them for grub but forgot to reservate
    P45

    You're meeting a member of the opposite sex that you really want to impress and as such you want to bring her/him to the best place in town but not possible at such short notice
    NO ACTION

    Well, what if I had made reservations under mr x in all of the most desirable places in davance and for a small fee, let's say €31.50, I would pass the name that I reserved under to you and you end up saving face/getting laid.

    Should I go to the dragons den with this one!??

    just ring the day before(during the afternoon). get the name of a member of staff, turn up on the night and say that member of staff took your booking and hope its not the person at the door

    Reminds me of this, Tina Seelig is a pretty big deal when it comes to entrepreneurship and she commends a class that did just this in her lectures, so yea, go for it!
