Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Problem with Java and Firefox

Lately Java has stopped working on my computer both with Firefox and IE8.

I've tried uninstalling it etc but the problem is still there, usually happens when i try to go into a chatroom and i'll get the message "error application failed to run" along with a log of the problems which i can post if it helps.

I have java enabled in my browers and i've checked it in the control panel and everything seems fine.

    Anyone any ideas ?

    Thanks in advance

Panic over, turns out it was my firewall blocking Java

That's odd... Was it the java updater service it was blocking or summit?

Dunno, it's Comodo Internet Security i'm using and when i was trying to get into a Java chatroom it was blocking it.

Just figured out i had to go into the Network Security Policy on comodo and remove a few java things and it's working grand now, seems it had to relearn.

Guess somewhere along the lines i clicked something i shouldn't have.
