Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

start computer using the windows cd and choose recovery console.
Assuming q is your cdrom drive
    copy q:\i386\kernel32.dl_ c:\windows\system32\
    Expand c:\i386\kernel32.dl_
then restart and it should be sorted.

You could do a windows repair. Is it XP?? If so boot off your XP cd and continue on as if you were doing a fresh install.. If it sees the previous install it'll ask you if you want to repair it. Hit r to do the repair, it'll go through the motions and finish after about 30mins. If it doesn't see the previous do not continue as you'll format your hard disk and lose your data.

black gold is suggesting that you put the windows instalation CD into the cd drive and boot from that not enter safe mode. To do this you have to press a key to enter the bios just after you turn it on normaly delete. Check your manual or manufacturers website or on most newer computer the is a key to press to boot from the cd just after turn on mine is f12 it will be listed at bottom of screen if this is so but be quick
if you do not have windows installation CD you can borrow a friends
