I don't know if you remember a video called AFAIR "Nenagh feins" showing young lads driving in erratic way, with their feet outside the window, etc...
AFAIR they were prosecuted eventually after publishing this video on the net.

Now there's a video of some Polish lads in Katowice doing some mad stuff on bikes and cars in second half of video as well. Their video disappered from youtube pretty quickly, but plenty of copies was made, one of which can be found f.e. here:
    http://w136.wrzuta.pl/film/a4rIAAs5BH1/city_jungle_katowice_stunt_drift_poland

They've been in Polish TV news, and police is already looking for them...

    Top comment.
5 minutes of video. 4 months in prison. 10 years driving ban.

It surely wasn't the greates behaviour on the road, but IMHO except from driver putthing his foot outside the window for a while, I can't see anything mad happening there. 4 months in prison and 10 years driving ban seems a bit excessive.
I see drivers doing more dangerous things nearly daily.

F.e. Driving on the middle of the road (or sometimes even on the right side) through blind bends.

I don't see that myself, Just really speeding is what I see. But that's also stupid.

Pity they didn't have a crash, would have been cheaper than jailing them and paying benefits to them for the rest of their lives.

Anyway this is a vid thread so:

    So here we go.
Every driving test category B in Poland is now recorded with CCTV.
Here's a video with a little compilation of some of them.
It's astonishing what can happend during the test.
Actually the first one shows some idiot driver runnin over a cyclist on pedestrian crossing :(
But my favourite is second one, where lady passing her test on first part (on the field in test centre doing some manouvers between cones hits a cone, and loses control of a vehicle at all. The best part is a rear view of driving tester trying to catch her ;)

    Prawo Jazdy

    Poland's worst driver. ;P

EDIT: Oddball question. It looks like some of these were the fault of other drivers. If someone runs into you during the driving test.... say when you're rightfully stopped at a light... is it an automatic failure

I didn't know the answer for your question so I looked up google for some cases like that / articles / internet forums. I can only answer how it works in Poland, as I didn't find anything relevant concerning Ireland.
It looks like, that terms and conditions of Polish driving test say that if there is an accident during the test, then test must be interrupted (no matter whose fault was it). If accident was caused by person who was being tested it's obviously a fail. If it was caused by third party, it's not a fail, but it doesn't change anything really, as test still must be interrupted, and applicant must apply for next test, and pay the fee again. So not much joy out of fact that accident wasn't his fault.
