Hi There,

Here's a couple of youtube links that might help:-

Sometimes 2 and 6 rather than 1 and 6.

If you can get the V number, the dealer should be able to look up the code on their database without needing to run a full diagnostic. You could try emailing a few dealers and one might do it out of the goodness of their hearts!

If not, there are a few guys on ebay that charge for the service, if you go to ebay.co.uk and search for "mondeo v radio code" and take your pick from them. Hope you can sort it.

If you find the "v" code then bring that to a main dealer and they will give you the code. They charge 10 euro for a code retrieval though.

My wife (who was on her way to the Ford dealership) pulled in, checked the manual and found the radio code!!!

It's now asking for a code. I've rang nissan and they want €40 !!

Some online places charge.. i did find http://www.radio-code.lt/ but it doesn't work... I was doing a favour changing the battery and didn't know this would happen as it doesn't on my car..

Codes for Ford radios with serial no. starting with V are not supplied for free on any site. Contact someone in your area who can decode car radios.

Just wondered if someone can help me out ...my car radio has got locked on screen and wont do anything .I have removed it and found serial number which is m096381 so am trying to found out how to get a code and how to unlock radio to put code in

I suggest you check serial no. again because it cannot start with R

I pulled the radio out but there doesnt seem to be any other numbers that start with an M.

Could it be the SAM Model Number: 1479 0921?

Otherwise there is one that is a combo of numbers and digits..

Any help would be much appreciated.

Is it the 6000cd? Should have a v code. There not available here, so you'd need to go to a Ford dealer, most of which charge a tenner for the code retrieval.

I need help finding my radio code, I suspect the radio isnt the original one because the code written in the manual and underneath the ash tray isnt working and keeps locking me out for 30 mins, so I pressed 1 & 6 and came up with this,
5070 1940
DP MV SH although that could be 5h....,
255 was written in small letters underneath,
09 00 00

hope that makes sense to someone out there thanks for any feed back, its the M6000 model.

You need to pull the radio out and get the serial number from there..... M followed by 6 digits
