Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I lost my ucard and the replacement will charge 20 euro. It is crazy ecause the cost of a IC card won't be more than 2 euro. And I notice that "If your card has been stolen, please bring a Garda Report verifying that it was stolen to the UCARD Office and they will replace it free of charge." Anyone went to the Garda for the report?

There is a Garda which comes to campus everyday between 1 and 2. He is located beside Services which are under the Ag building.

Just say you wallet or something got stolen and he will give you a garda report, and hey presto you'll have a new student card without being 30€ down.

Here's the thing, you don't even have to lie. I went to Donnybrook Garda Station and told the truth about my card (ie. I lost it). The form has two options "loss/theft of". The Garda crossed out "theft of" so it was clear I had just lost it. Nonetheless, I still got my replacement free upon presentation of the form.

It seems that simply making the report is sufficient to receive a free replacement, which is fair enough I suppose.
