Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

utilities like that may be brand specific - which brand of laptop ?

usually you just power up the laptop with the lid closed.
or use the keyboard to resume from standby or some such

Go into Power Options in Control Panel.

Within that you can select what happens when your lid closes on your laptop. You should have 3 options I think:

    Nothing
    Shut Down
    Standby

Select Nothing then Apply and OK out of the open windows.
