Been arguing with one of the guys here for the past 3 weeks about Lisbon. He's a fervent socialist (proud of it). Nothing would sway his mind. Was hung up on the abortion issue etc etc. No manner of proof would change him. He left yesterday evening to go to polling station to make his mark.... told he couldn't vote. ranted…

He left yesterday evening to go to polling station to make his mark.... told he couldn't vote. ranted and raged, claiming conspiracy. FF taking him off the eletoral register etc etc.

Found out this moring that as he was born in Britain (and lived there for 14 years and holds UK passport) and is not an irish citizen, he can't vote.

Been having good auld "brits out" humour this morning here!!:D - He's sulking!!:rolleyes:
