Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi,

This is very much new territory for me, I've been looking for a thoughtful gift for my girlfriend of a few months' baby.

He is one this weekend and i've been wracking my brain to think of something.

Obviously I don't want to show up his dad in any form, or unexpectedly show up with a hamper of toys. I'd just like some ideas that his family would see as not over the top and but without seeming I put in no effort.

Genuinely want to make a nice impression.

    thanks,

I suppose a dress/top from a nice shop would do the job.

    Yes, I know.

I was suggesting you buy him clothes.
The dress part was because I wasn't sure if boy or girl

Frame a nice photo of your girlfriend with her baby? Or you could do a collage of photos of the two of them.

The baby would appreciate something a bit more fun though I'd say. Set your budget and head into a toy shop, something to encourage walking if he's not walking yet.

You could get him a trike or a ride on, they are not overly expensive
