Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

What do CRC errors mean?

I have a western digital external harddrive and I'm getting quite a few CRC errors. Eventually I just can't see any files on the drive at all.

Any ideas? Could it be my windows installation causing the issue?

It's like a checksum(a number that generated from a stream of data that is used to make sure the data has not been altered). It's a very bad sign. If the drive is also clicking I'd strongly advise you to back up quick!

It could be a driver or filesystem problem either but it's best to be cautious.
