Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Startup problem

    When I try to turn on my pc I can hear 3 bleeps and the screen stays black, any ideas?

    think its somethin with the bios
    try removin the batt for a few hours

    Look in your manual for beep codes . These are error codes pointing to a specific failure and vary between BIOS versions . Alternatively google for your computer make and include three beeps in the search string or go to your manufacturer's support site .


    Removing the CMOS battery is unlikely to help . I'd be more inclined to pull the RAM and try booting with one stick at a time though identifying the code is the shortest route to identifying the problem

    I'd agree with this, RAM is the usual culprit. And power supply
