Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Enjoyed season 2, as OTT as expected, mad as a bag of badgers!

Did anyone else think it got very religiously/philosophically themed in the last few episodes?
I know its always been a factor (Amish) but just wondering if it's a pointer to future seasons.

I think that was only because of the uncle being a priest so the storyline involved alot of religious tones

Yea that was the real in your face stuff but there were other parts like Kai Proctors secret praying area, Proctors mothers comments visiting him in prison, Hood and Emmets talk in the Cadi...even going back to the young Indian girls murder.

Everyone is dead, all nicely and neatly ended. Has me wondering if what the angle will be in the 3rd season.

theyll probably go into hoods background a bit more, all we knew about him so far was from when he first met rabbit, but he clearly had some kind of reputation before he met rabbit that they had been teasing in the last 2-3 episodes,

rachel killed the head of the indians, and kai wont be happy about how hes been treated either, himself and hood still have to have a showdown, but i cant see that happening till the very end of the show, probably season 4-5, cant see the show getting past 5 seasons,

I hope it doesn't. The pace is one of the things that keeps the show going. 4 seasons would be very tidy. Splitting the conflict with Kai & some back story for Hood over the two seasons.

Jaysus that finale was really good. The drama in the church was so OTT, and I absolutely loved it.

I watched the 20 episodes over the last 2 weeks and I'm kicking myself for waiting this long. What a fantastic show. Season 3 is going to be more of the same (minus Rabbit) and that's fine by me. It would have been nice if his brother had survived the church somehow and factored into season 3.

After reading through the last few pages, I'm surprised that nobody picked up on Ana's polaroid in the title sequence (normally she blinks but in the finale title sequence, she didn't open her eyes). Thank god it was more symbolic of closing out her old life (rather than being killed off).

    Fun show. :)

The credit sequence is a bit of an ARG. Changes from week to week. has hiddn codes etc. Never bothered to follow it up or read into it but there is some info in there if you look hard enough.

Also, have you been watching until after ALL the credits? Usually sets up the next episode.

Gonna re-watch the first two seasons. It is so boss.

One of my personal favourites is in the third episode of the 1st Season. The bit where Hood takes
vengeance on the MMA fighter who raped the girl. My god, if there is a more brutal meting out of "vigilante" justice ever, then I haven't seen it. The Turkeybreaker on the guys hand is just so painful looking!!!

I always think of the same part! Brutal is not the word, almost felt sick the first time round watching that :)

Show constantly delivers what it promises, hope that continues, trailer looks great

I wasn't sick. I was kinda feeling "You reap what you sow"... but yeah, it was so brutal.

And it really does deliver on what it sets out to deliver; it's like a live-action comic book/graphic novel, and it is just great!

Another classic scene for me was when he was having a brawl with some British dude in the middle of the road(2nd season) and is on the ground being pounded on when he sees a truck jack knife towards them and pushes yer man upwards with his feet so he gets decapitated by the trailer as it skids over them.

There is a short 5 minute post mortem show just out and in advance of new season starting. It is discussing the events of season 2 and what could be in store for new season as they interview cast members. Worth a watch.

I also notice on YouTube there are some new videos uploaded by Cinemax as part of the banshee origins series.

Just watched 3.1-8 of Origins - man, this is still such a stylish show. Had quite forgotten how explosively violent it can be though without the hot sex to mitigate.

    Looking forward to the return.

I seen season one, but missed season two on sky. I don't fancy waiting until it comes out on box sets. By any chance does Netflix have it? It's not on the Irish one.

Its only streaming on iTunes in regions that have iTunes tv shows.

Agreed, it really was the perfect first episode of a new season with a tease of what to expect. Hopefully it will not disappoint. If they tick all the boxes this could be a classic season of TV.

One of my best friends recommended this to me before Christmas and it was a show I binged on between Christmas and the New Year.

I was blown away. It is like a live-action comic book. It is so addictive and so good. And it has flown completely under the radar too. I'd never even heard of it until the second week in December, when it was recommended to me.

I saw the first episode of the new season a couple of days ago. Bonanza stuff. This is going to be a great season. I cannot wait for it to kick off properly. I'm going to be suffering withdrawal now, because I've to wait a week between episodes. I used to be able to binge. :o
