    Hey guys,
I'm buying my first PC finally proably next week maybe the week after but just want to double check just in case i miss something this is what i have so far..

    Intel Core i5-4690K Box, LGA1150- €233,62
MSI Z97S SLI Krait Edition, Sockel 1150, ATX - 114,48
Sale: Nanoxia Deep Silence DS 3 Dark Black - 62,99
    WD Blue 1TB 6Gb's- €49,68
    Crucial SSD 250GB BX100 - 84,89
    8GB-Kit GB HyperX FURY White 1866MHz DDR3 CL10 - 56,79
    Thermaltake Smart SE 730W / Modular- €68,49
    Gigabyte GeForce GTX 970 G1 Gaming, 4GB GDDR5 - 352,79
    be quiet! Dark Rock 3 - 58,89
    Total - €1082

Going with 1440p getting a QNIX QX2710 so that's why i have an sli board so i can get another 970 in a few months.
Is that psu enough for 2 970's?
I want silence if ya can't tell already:D

    Thanks for the help.

I've ordered the same motherboard, a GTX970 and the same CPU - but I'm getting it all in a snazzy white case with a window. The DS3 Seems a bit bland for something that isn't really a budget build and a build with colour coordinated internal components.

Then again, Digital Solitude swears by that case.

It's a good case, I don't consider it my place to tell someone what is a nice case, so I tell them an efficient one

    I'd get a R9 290X or 390X for 1440p, shouldn't need to Crossfire them

Can drop CPU to i5 4460 if wanted. 500w is enough for a single card, if you need Crossfire then a 750w should do. I'd upgrade the PSU with the card

don't forget the thermal paste :)

I would think the PSU can handle all of that. Should be fine.

Ohh yeah i forgot i have a little side list...:D
    Logitech Proteus Core G502- €67,63
    Hercules DJ M40.1- €22,89
    Arctic Silver V, Wärmeleitpaste 1ml- €6,45
    QNIX QX2710 - €322ish

@magtuired Not gone on the window and lights and stuff just isnt my thing I'd prefer silence over anything else really.

@Digital Solitude Yeah have seen u say that on a lot of threads but the G1 seems to keep up with it (from the benchmarks I've seen) when overclocked maybe 5fps in the difference but the 970 is alot better on power or am i just looking to much into it.
Will be playing AAA titles GTA V mostly just thought heat wise 2x970 was better than 2x290x or 2x390x while still be able to play 60+fps.

Stock fan is good enough if you don't overclock. It already comes with thermal paste.

Single 390X is better than a GTX 980 at 1440p.

    K so I'll go with a 390x so...
Yeah will be overclocking but still want it as quiet as possible so evo 212 is ok but that Dark Rock 3 has amazing reviews.
Am i good to go then on the rest?

Have a look at benchmarks there on YouTube, I'm after watching an array of games where the 390X matched the 980Ti

Noctua do a fan for about €70 that's supposed to be serious, forget the name, but I'd say you're grand with any of BeQuiets stuff

    Everything else is perfect

One more question are BeQuiet PSU's something i should consider for silence and PSU's generally loud? I have a old acer so woundn't know sound wise how loud they are
    Thanks

PSU generally isn't something you'd hear over a GPU or CPU fan anyways, I've gone from a BeQuiet to a Corsair in the same setup and found no difference

So 500w is ok for same build but with a 390x?
    Thanks Digital for the help!

I'd go 550W as you're overclocking too, just to leave a little more leeway

You can normally use PayPal for them, or a bank transfer

Seems to be only bank transfer on first order

I have paid for an order on a guest account with Paypal, in the last two months.

    =-=

If you're going for silence, perhaps get something like these for the case fans?
