Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi,

I'm trying to recover email from Outlook Express on an iMac. Basically I had the email backed up, had problem with iMac that was fixed, started using OS X but need to find some old emails from Outlook.

Have both OS 9 on an iMac and OS X on a eMac.

I have a CD with the files i.e. Messages, database etc.

I tried copying the files to the folder on the HD on the iMac and opening Express but that doesn't seem to work.

Can I recover using the Mail application on OS X or on a PC e.g. Outlook on Win 2000.

    Any help appreciated.

    gallantman

I got my mails back by ....

    1) create a new mail account in outlook.

    2) locate the mail directory ..

    3) shutdown outlook and replace the mail files.

    4) reopen .. your mails should be there ?

Thanks, managed to get it working on Friday evening but similar solution.

    1. Created folder in IDENTIFIES folder e.g. John.
    2. Copied files into folder.
    3. Opened Outlook
    4. go to File and Switch identify and select John and hey presto !!
