Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

2 choices....sky sports have a live kind of summary page.....or if you are with eircom you can watch a live setanta feed online.

I watched the arges game last night live on the eircom site.....very good feed and speed i must say.

Hmmm... didn't know you could do that.. the ball and the player went nearly a metre over the touch line, and before either touched the ground, the player managed to throw it back onto the pitch and it remained in play

Why isn't the Tongan being called Paddy Power?

Click on the block showing the score of the game. It's called the live rugby tracker. Team lists, text commentary etc.

    Daveirl,

I find the text updates on the official site seem to be very up-to-date and informative.

    Go to
    http://www.rugbyworldcup.com/

and then click on the live tracker for the particualr game you are interested in and it has all the info.

As long as the ball stays in touch... the player can be out and not touching the ground but the ball can't. I read from the previous post that he said both player and ball were out.

    anyone got a uk proxy?

The US had a penalty there under the posts in injury time, 10 points down. So, why did they go for the try when there was a bonus point up for grabs for losing by 7 or less?? Surely they should take any points they can get? They didnt make it for the try, so it seems like a waste

Maybe they were going for all or nothing? It's not like a bonus point is going to make any difference for them with Samoa and South Africa next up for them.

Cheers - only second loss so far in the handicap betting during the world cup - first was Argies V France, so 8 from 10 is ok :)

Skipping the Japan Fiji game and all over Italy at -32 this evening.

The US weren't crap,i was surprised. If they had managed to keep ball in hand and not knock the match could have been quite different.Their no.11 is one speedy guy, surprised he didn't score on that last run

sorry to go slightly off-topic but is that Tongan players real name Paddy Power or did Paddy Powwer betting pay him to change it to that for the world cup or something?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,120 ✭✭✭shrapnel222

they paid him to get it changed and he did via deeds poll so it really is his name now.

on a side note paddypower are offering 150 to 1 if he is named man of the match in the england game :D
