I'll watch it but the pace of the series really needs to go up a notch - I found last season after the 6th or 7th episode to be snooze-worthy

Delighted that they got out so quick. I was prepared for an entire season revolving around escaping. On the other hand, Governor 2.0 is still alive so we'll see how that works out.

I was almost bawling like a baby when everyone was reunited.

Same here, even Carl and Rick lol - was ashamedly happy to see Carl look happy to see his dad, but Carol and Daryl. And Rick asking if she did that? Damn right she did! Awesome!

Actually, I just rewatched the end and the sign that Rick covered up with mud is more overgrown than when Rick was there. He's at least a week behind them. It'll be interesting to see where he ends up.

The present occupants of Terminus, before they got owned by Carol - although i guess some of them are still alive. I think the story there was just giving credence to why they turned to cannibalism. The scene in the train carriage was set before they had taken run of the place, earlier in the show Carol shoots a woman in the leg (Tasha Yar from star trek TNG funnily enough) and she tells Carol albeit somewhat crypticly why they do what they do..
The carriage scene was to flesh out that backstory i guess (heh pun intended)

My brother had an interesting theory after Season 4 that the room Carol shot that woman in was for satanic rituals, and that such a ritual had started the apocalypse.

However, those were names written on the ground so it would appear that it was merely a place to remember the fallen. Thoughts?

Yeah i would have thought it was a memorial room, the "never trust" things on the walls would suggest something awful happened with people the residents gave their trust to

Great episode. Probably one of the best of the whole show. Surprised they dealt with Terminus that quickly considering the build up it took to get there. Guessing now we're gonna see the push to get to Washington, with trouble coming from whatever camp abducted Beth.

I don't know why they'll keep Garret alive considering Rick's "they all die" stance, guess we'll find out.

Carol is redeeming herself in my eyes. I hated her character for so long but she's coming good.

Nah, no terminus as such. There was a pack of hunters they encountered who were cannibals, would guess Terminus was an expanded idea based on them.

Beth - nobody knows yet. But at the start of this weeks episode there was a kind of montage of voices in the traincar - One of those was Daryl explaining what happened with the black car with the white cross on it that she was bundled into by some as yet unknown survivors. I'd guess that's an upcoming storyline, it's not like the writers to leave an unfinished tale of one of the regular group

jeasus that was bleak and scary as hell. really love the conversion of Rick. gone is the nice guy who wanted to deal with the governor and now goes full psycho and wants to go back in to get everyone at terminus. wow what a change. really glad they didnt drag out a season on terminus.

i also thing the nasty rapist guy might turn out to be the governor part 2 in washington (cant remember his name from the comics). he even looked like him a bit...although the terminus crowd did say they retook it and killed everyone.

i also am not convinced Tyrese killed the dude with the hat.

seeing terminus go all ISIS on people was horrific, for a while i was sure judith the baby was toast but i guess they would not go that far.

did ye all watch it right to the end (we did quite by accident), when morgan from episode 1/2 reappeared following rick and the crew...the question is who made the marks to follow in the trees?? are some of the crowd from terminus deciding to continue their push not to be cattle i wonder??

also carol...wow what a change for her, real badass...i barely recognised who she wounded and left to the Z's...yer one from star trek tng

I was hoping to do my usual blank it for 5-8 episodes then gorge on a WD fest. Not sure I'll be able to.

Remember the first scenes of the show that Carol was in? Abusive husband that made her cower. She is completely unrecognizable from that now. I like it.

Rick also seems to have taken the "be the butcher or the cattle " mantra. He very nearly didn't open the container to release the guy who was mental. It'll be interesting to see how far they push his dark side. Would he ever go so far to fcuk over decent people to ensure his people survive?

I personally think she's taken to the role brilliantly, she slowly grew into a badass protector of the group. Even if it meant killing one of her own to save the others - but yeah, from battered wife to distraught mother to mad maxine - i think that's literally how her character grew into what she's become now

She would probably sacrifice herself if she thought it was the right call at the time.

Nice gun Carol had though that is why USA will survive a zombie outbreak they have the guns.What would we do in Ireland if the outbreak happened here.

Yeah, i thought that too, but someone told me it was the guy rick shot in the season finale - a resident of terminus, and that they were going to carve him up for supper anyway.

I cant be certain myself but if that's true it'd mean Rick was a lot more justifed in his decision to go back after they'd escaped to kill the remainder of them. Only for Carol showing up and the reunion with her, Tyreese and Judith they probably would have gone back or had a massive argument and possible power struggle with the three new people over that.

I'm just speculating based on if that guy was actually the chap Rick shot though, so yeah, could just have been a gruesome reminder of how close he came to being butchered (literally for meat).

Unless you have impeccable aim, and access to a fcuk load of ammunition, guns aren't to be relied on.

probably not swim, but they may be able to wade through shallow water or drift with a current - wasnt there a scene last season that had some coming out of a river? And another one with the gov looking down into a large pool/pond/lake of water with a loads of Zed's in it.

I agree with the accent part he does seem dumb.Not because he has a strange accent more the words he uses.Basically he will create something to kill the zombies.But not humans.Sounds far fetched.And I am sure we saw from the other scientist who had them trapped ages ago he said they are all infected every one of them.No matter who they are they will turn upon death.You an kill all the zombies and still have this in you to turn.And then you have to cure that turning illness.A single scientist will not find the cure to turning and also find a virus to kill zombies and not humans.He is not that good.It would take dozens of scientists.
